ABOUT US

JULIE

Hometown: Revere, Massachusetts
Nationality: 100% Irish (at heart)
College: George Washington University
Major: History maybe, but undeclared at the mo.
Hobbies: Besides studying Larry, I like music, traveling, playing footie with me mates, the Boston Red Sox, and reading.
Instruments Played: Trumpet and piano.
Place I'd Most Like to Vacation: Ireland, or maybe Newcastle, England
Place I'd Least Like to Vacation: Iowa
Biggest Pet Peeve: Apathy, people who try so hard to be just like everyone else, and the stupid arseholes at my school who think it’s cool to drink to get drunk.
Best Advice: Don’t drink alcohol unless it’s a Guinness and you’re with your best friends because you’re best friends are the only ones worthy enough to see you make an eejit out of yourself.
Favorite Memory: The U2 show on 31 October 2001.
Worst Memory: When George Harrison died on 29 November 2001.
Favorite Music: I'm all about rock, but I do like the folk sound occasionally.
Favorite Folk Singer: John Denver, who else?
Favorite Artist: David Bowie, the chameleon
Favorite Bands: U2, The Beatles, Radiohead, The Who, The Police, and The Wallflowers.
Favorite Album: The Joshua Tree
Favorite Singer: Roy Orbison has the best voice, but I also enjoy Sting.
Favorite Song: Acrobat by U2
Favorite Books: Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, Dispatches by Michael Herr, and Animal Farm by George Orwell.
Favorite Movie: The Empire Strikes Back.
Favorite Show: Homicide: Life on the Street
Things Larry and I Have in Common: We were both born on a Tuesday, we both were in marching bands, and we both have blue eyes. (That's about it.)
Things Larry and I Don't Have in Common: Unlike Larry, I think the lyrics are worth a shit. (That's about it. I guess Larry and I are perfect for each other.)

MOLEE

Nicknames: Molly, Mols, Mo
Hometown: Revere, MA -- a suburb of Boston.
School: Brown University, tentatively majoring in Development Studies (of the Third World), or maybe in Economics with a minor in Sociology.
Nationality: Chinese-Cambodian, but Irish in spirit.
Hobbies: music. drawing. this website. Robert Kennedy. reading about historical figures and about music. watching critically acclaimed movies (i.e. An Affair to Remember, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, A Clockwork Orange) to see what all the hype is about. writing about everything. pretending to be Irish.
Obsessions: American Movie Classics, Nick At Nite, people with foreign accents.
Talents: turning every comment into a sexual one.
Personal anthem: Ramones : I Don't Want To Grow Up.
Me in three: optimistic, open, indecisive.
The key to life: Be genuinely fascinated with everyone and everything.
Biggest Influences: J-Train - my AP US history teacher, Nance - my senior year English teacher, Bobby Kennedy, Bono and Edge
Favorite Music: Rock, of course. Classic, soft, modern - I love it all. Then there's rap, R & B, pop, jazz, blues, soul, classical, classic punk, and new age stuff like Enya. I don't have very discriminative musical tastes.
Favorite Singer: Sting - coolest and sexiest fifty-year old I've ever seen...
Favorite Bands: U2, Oasis, Stereophonics, Travis, The Police, The Eagles, The Who, Queen, INXS is quickly growing on me.
Favorite Songs: always changing with the mood.. at the mo, they are U2 : Ultraviolet (Light My Way), Stereophonics : Step On My Old Size Nines, Jimi Hendrix : Castles Made Of Sand, INXS : Beautiful Girl.
Favorite Album: U2 : Achtung Baby.
Favorite Movie: Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Favorite Shows: West Wing and Ed.
Favorite Memory: at the Oct 31st U2 concert in Providence, when Adam laughed at my sign and eyed my friends and me for the rest of the night. (If I could remember Bono taking the scrapbook from me, I'd probably say that, but I was sobbing too hard to remember it.)
Most Fulfilling Experience: Volunteering at a daycare near my dorm. Little kids always know how to put a smile on my face...
Favorite Position: hehe... anywhere within 5 feet of Adam, Bono, Edge, or Larry is good enough for me...
Favorite Pastime: staring at Adam's Achtung nudie...mmm, yeah...
